Early in the course, you'll complete your first 2D smile design using a single clinical photo. Most participants don't expect how quickly they get to a result they can actually show a patient - a clear, visual presentation of what treatment could look like. That first output tends to reframe how they approach esthetic conversations from that point forward.
The second: working in 3D.
The transition into Smilecloud 3DNA takes longer, and that's normal. But once the spatial logic of the software becomes familiar, the planning process changes significantly. You start seeing how the digital design connects to the clinical execution - and how your technician, your patient, and your treatment plan can all work from the same visual reference.

You don't need one to start learning 2D design and patient presentations. For the 3D modules, a scanner makes the workflow significantly smoother — without one, importing 3D files requires extra steps that can slow you down.

You submit one real case you've worked on during the course. You'll receive a recorded 5–10 minute video review from Dario or a senior clinical team member — covering what you did well, what to refine, and how to apply the feedback to your next case.
